Understanding the Heavenly Ego
We all have egos. Even nations have big egos. Just a three letter word but it can cause so much anger, pride, vanity, conceit and pompousness. Remember how in our 20s this big monster Ego starts vacillating between inferior ego (lack of self confidence) and superior ego (aggressiveness)? Well, there is another type of ego which CLI calls heavenly ego (wise actions).
In Inferior ego state we are easily swayed, can be bullied, and have low faith in self and others. In Superior ego, we can be disrespectful, unkind, intolerant and uncaring. Heavenly ego is the path of transformation where we are respectful, devoted, nonjudgmental, detached, patient and joyful. Sounds like a great place to visit, right?! As part of CLI’s Personal and Professional Development Program, participants discover how to self-coach and coach others to magically reduce the Inferior and Superior Egos. These tools are very useful at home and work when we wish to build stronger relationships.
What we have noticed is that it is both the Inferior and Superior egos which prevent us from achieving what we truly wish to achieve. The doors to high achievement are locked! However, by unlocking that door to personal power, wow, so many great things can happen in our world. Try it.

Let’s Restart Our Phone Line to “God”
Do you know that Whales communicate with each other via a whistle system?
If a whale is in Alaska he could (science has proven) communicate with his lady friend in Australia through this whistling system. However, whales are having difficulty communicating over long distances since humans have polluted and put in tons of garbage, stopping their whistles from reaching their destination. How frustrating that must be for these beautiful creatives when they cannot properly communicate with their loved ones.
In the human world, we have the same communication challenges as do the whales. Our phone lines to God are full of static. We cannot hear God clearly. Sometimes our prayers are not answered.
With polluted minds and polluted bodies, it is difficult to access our highest intuition because our access to it is filtered by the garbage we have created in the form of unconstructive beliefs in our subconscious mind and by what impure food and drink and such we put in and on our bodies.
Those wishing to clean up their clogged and constricting phone lines can begin with Life Coach Training and practice self coaching and meditation. God (in whatever form we know God to be in our hearts) is bound to answer our call.

Why is Executive Coaching Important?
During the last decade of major industry transformation across the world with social media and other technologies like Cloud disrupting traditional boundaries, coaching for executives has become a key differentiator for organizations. Do you know that 44% of US Executives feel it is likely that an employee or former employee will sue them?
CLI’s Certified Executive Power Coach® Program is entirely focused on leadership skills. A CEPC Coach works with the leader on identifying their current leadership skills and strengths, works through solutions for areas not yet core strength, and helps the client set and achieve objectives in both self-leadership and leadership of others.
Recent indepth conversations with our Executive Clients revealed something very disturbing. Most of them have at least one of what we may call a complex situation such as in-fighting, negativity, judgement, blame and varying levels of mental/emotional instability. While not all Coaches are trained in remedial work, CLI’s Senior Mind-Kinetics® Coaches have the ability to bring peace and calm back into your organization. Don’t delay.

Fun at Work – Why is this important?
Hmm… we spend most of our days in our respective offices. It makes sense then to put effort into making our time spent in the office and work environment enjoyable. Look up the best companies and “Google“ will surely figure in the top five. Why is working so much fun there?
A “fun atmosphere” provides employees a release valve, allows them an in-house platform to express themselves and facilitates their personality to flower. It enables employees to better deal with stressful situations and challenges with greater optimism and energy. Fun does not mean work is not taken seriously but by putting in place firm norms and right balance, work places can be more fun than homes.
Celebrating Birthdays,Employee Appreciation Days and having Fundoo Fridays or fun with on the spot games and quizzes can really liven up the atmosphere. However, the choice of humour in the office must not be offensive or gender targeted but plain old fun. In Betska K-Burr’s book, Creating Champions, you will find dozens of ways to bring more fun, humour and lightness to the workplace.

The CLI Value of ‘Self-Love’ – The Power of Self-Love
Self-Love is what we all strive for, isn’t it? As Executive and Life Coaches, we find that ‘Self-Love’ is one of the top ten Values sought by our Clients. What really bothers us deep down at a heart level in most everyday situations is that we do not really love ourselves, our worth, our unique skills and gifted talents well enough.
That request for ‘Self-Love’ comes disguised as many possible goals unique to each individual. For example:
To a leader, “I want to better engage my employees.”
To myself, “I want to be a better manager of my time” or “Help me acquire a Healthier diet.”
To a wife, “I want my husband to show me that he loves me.”
To a Parent, “I truly wish for my teenage son to connect with me and talk to me. To share his problems with me.”
Under each of these goals is a desire for Self-Love, to be the most loving, most generous and the most caring person. Through the PCMK™ Curriculum for Life Coach Training, we learn to reconnect with ourselves through self-love.

The CLI Value of ‘Respect’ – Teaching Our Children the Value of Respect
‘Respect’ is acknowledging the unique existence of others as gifted by God and honouring the other person’s many strengths by a combination of positive words, thoughts and actions. For example, the Japanese bow deferentially every time they meet.
When positive thoughts, words and actions become our main vehicles for communication, we demonstrate ‘Respect’ for self and others for what we and others are.
Teens often have difficulty respecting elders or accepting wise advice from their parents. As children grow older they start losing connection to their Higher Power (underdeveloped front lobes prevent them from being as logical as we would like them to be). While teens may appear to be rebellious, truly their rebellion is simply a cry for more love, ‘Respect’ and understanding from their parents. Conscious parents learn Life Coach Training skills to help teens self-discover their own solutions. In this way teens will not feel that parents are trying to fix them, control them or arrange their lives without mutual respect and dignity. Sign up today. You’ll be happy you did.
